So this week lift up your head and let your life be warmed by the sun; it is not just in the sky where you cannot reach it; it lies within each and everyone of us! So if there are clouds up above, then shine from within and lighten up the world with a smile, with laughter, with a touch. Become the warmth of the sun for someone else, and brighten up their day, when you do this you are guaranteed to shine…. Have a great week….
This Weeks Prayer: Lead by Rev. Sharon L. Jones
Dear God:
I bow my head in gratefulness of you! When I look out on to the world and see so many changes taking place, so many lives that have recently been changed by life’s furry. At times I have to stop and ask why? I have to ask, why there has been so many lives disrupted lately? Then I realize you gave us life, with choices and strength, you gave us freedom and courage, you gave us hearts to feel and love, you gave us tears to cleanse our souls, you gave us one another to hold and share with. You’ve offered us wisdom and lessons to learn. Maybe we had forgotten some of these gifts you gave us and maybe it is a way of reminding us, how perfect we are; how strong we are; how courageous we are. Maybe it reminds us that even without a job, or a home, or a car, that we can still pull together and help one another. That the only thing that truly matters is each other. That living is not about how much money you make, what title you have, what possessions you keep, as we’ve all seen how it can be gone in the blink of an eye! No, living is knowing that you exist, your alive! Living is offering sunshine to those around you, even if you have nothing monetarily to give to someone, you have yourself! You have all of God’s gifts! You have strength, courage, a hand to offer someone to hold on to, a shoulder for someone to lean on, a gentle smile to lighten up someone’s day, a kind word to say. God you gave us everything! And that is why I am grateful for you.
So God in your journeys this week, please remind us of these gifts, which you have bestowed upon us. Reminding us to be gentle and kind to all those we come upon this week. Remind us that we are not alone. Heal the broken hearted, find homes for those who’ve lost theirs, find a friend for those who just need a kind word. Offer them a position that they’ve never thought of. Offer them your, strength, your heart and make it shine so bright that they will feel comfort in your arms. And remind them of the wisdom that lies within in them, so they can be courageous on their new journeys. God I bow my head and ask you to take care of your lambs, to find the lost sheep and make sure they are safe and warm. I know you will do this, because you are God and even though you gave us choices, I know you will never let us stray far from home. So again God I bow my head in gratefulness of you! Amen.

This stone also offers strength in prayer and spiritual discipline, so say a prayer and ask for clarity, as this stone will assist you in these areas.
Summary: It seems to me that this week is for soul searching, and clarification. This week seems to be about looking at what truly makes you happy, appreciating all the gifts you do have and getting rid (cleaning house) as to what no longer makes you happy or serves your best interest. It’s a week to remember to smile and love one another, despite our loses or differences and to make amends in your life, through prayer, love and forgiveness. So enjoy your week, and don’t look at it as a chore or as a loss, when doing your spring-cleaning per-say, look at is as a fresh start, a new beginning, a rejuvenation period this week!
